Consults must be submitted/reviewed by a licensed veterinarian
After information on the case is obtained, the clinician must provide: Hospital info, Patient information, Medical director name + email / Billing contact

No formal onboarding is required before your first consultation. Hospitals may request a consultation immediately, provided the attending clinician can supply the necessary patient information.
To simplify future consultations and billing, the following items are recommended and can be completed before or after the initial consultation:
Signed Master Services Agreement (MSA)
Hospital and billing contact information, including the Medical Director
Valid payment method on file (credit card or ACH)

Every effort will be made to return consultation requests within 15 minutes of receiving your call.Written Consultation Summary
Following each consultation, a written summary will be provided via email.Consultations between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM: Written summary typically sent within 4 hours.
Consultations between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM: Written summary typically sent by 10:00 AM the following morning.
Please note that response and documentation times are goals and may occasionally be affected by the acuity or volume of active consultations.

Critical Care Consulting for DVMs
Atlantic ER Vet Consults, LLC provides board-certified emergency and critical care teleconsulting exclusively for licensed veterinarians in General Practice, Urgent Care, and ER settings.
Led by a board-certified veterinary Criticalist, the service offers rapid second opinions, complex case support, and evidence-based guidance for unstable or complex cases — especially when referral is not possible or additional expertise is needed.
Each consult includes review of medical records, diagnostics, and treatment plans, followed by clear, practical recommendations designed to fit seamlessly into your clinical workflow.
Consultations are collaborative, efficient, and focused on helping veterinarians manage critical cases with confidence.
